The Gallina Companies made a generous donation to the Harvard Illinois Food Pantry in December 2006. The Food Pantry reports that with the help of our donation over 200 food baskets were made available to families and seniors in the Harvard area.

Gallina Companies Staff Ring in the Season.
On Saturday, December 8, 2007, Gallina Companies staff members served as Salvation Army Bell Ringers from 8 am to 8 pm. They were posted by the red kettle at the Middleton Copps Food Store, near the intersection of Century Avenue and Donna Drive.

The Gallina Companies participate in the NBC-15 "Share Your Holidays" Food Drive
Staff and Residents were invited to bring non-perishable food donations to the Gallina Companies building at 8500 Greenway Boulevard in Middleton, as well as to the LeSilve Apartments community at 8520 and 8560 Greenway Boulevard.

Gallina Companies Employees Exceed Goals in Giving
The Gallina Company employees have been involved in the United Way Campaign for many years. Since 2004, our employees have increased their giving by more than 255% to aid community organizations create real solutions for people in need. Recently, The Gallina Companies has received from the United Way Organization a Silver Award for averaged giving of $100-$149 per employee, a Best Practices Award for our campaign efforts & involvement throughout the company, and an Award of Distinction for an increased giving of 25% or more. The Gallina Companies is proud to be involved in a program that can creating lasting results for so many people.

United Way Day of Caring
In August of 2005, Gallina Companies staff helped to repaint the University Avenue building of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Madison Area. The building serves as IHN staff offices and a day center for homeless families in the area.

Gallina Companies Drop-Off Locations
The Management Office, LeSilve Apartments, and Deer Creek Apartments were toy drop locations for the 2006 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots campaign. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to dleiver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

The Gallina Companies were finalists for the 2003 Southern Wisconsin Business Ethics Award.
Finalists were chosen for their executive commitment to business ethics, company ethics programs and conflict resolution procedures, sound ethical business practices, and good corporate citizenship.
